Why Pinterest’s Buy Button Will Change E-commerce Forever

Just like Facebook and Twitter, Pinterest has announced it will add a buy button to the social platform. And, according to HubSpot Blogs, it will change e-commerce forever. Why? Because people go to Pinterest with shopping in mind.

Some new research from Shopify supports this thinking: The average amount spent per Pinterest referred order is $50, the highest of all major social networks, and 93% use Pinterest to plan purchases and 96% use Pinterest to gather product information.
