What’s the Biggest Theater Etiquette Pet Peeve?

As a member of the live entertainment industry, I’m sure you have a few pet peeves when it comes to the theater. Whether it’s texting audience members or loudmouth commentators, there’s always “that person” in the crowd, right?

To gain a little clarity on some of the biggest live entertainment etiquette questions and concerns, Goldstar surveyed more than 1,000 members as well as theater experts. We’ll share the insights from this survey in a series of posts here.

First up, the biggie: We asked people what their BIGGEST live theater pet peeve was. You can see in the chart below that it was a dead heat between “people who talk during the show” and “cell phone users.”
