Time to Change Your Facebook Strategy

Facebook has recently made a change to its policies and how it runs its site to stop “Like-Gating.”

What’s “Like-Gating”? Basically, it’s when you run a promotion on your Facebook pageĀ (a giveaway or special content) that someone can only see or participate in if they’ve “liked” your page.

The goal is to lessen the number of people liking pages they aren’t really interested in (and possibly to up advertising on Facebook). For more information and to see if you need to update your business’ Facebook page, check out this article on Hubspot.
