TEDxBroadway Is Back — and It Won’t Be the Same Without You!

Do you remember field trips?

Nothing could make my 8-year-old self more excited than knowing that, instead of a normal school day, we were going someplace special. If you, too, liked that feeling (or if you never got to experience it), then I would love to see you at TEDxBroadway. It’s a field trip day, but designed for your adult self.

If you’ve never been, it’s a day full of presentations, but not like any you’d expect at a regular conference. Bullet points are banned, presenters have a tendency to break out in song, no presentation is more than 15 minutes long, and there are cookies. Good ones!

But even more exciting than all of that, you’re going to see and hear some truly remarkable people. This year, we’ve got just over 20 presenters from a whole range of fields, including science, technology, theater, concerts, education and more. And they’re not coming in to give their normal “pitch” presentation. They’ve all taken a lot of time and worked with me personally to develop an original presentation for our stage.

Some of the presenters we’ve already announced include:

• Yale Scientist Dr. Laurie Santos
• Vans Warped Tour Creator Kevin Lyman
• Metropolitan Museum Chief Digital Officer Sree Srinivasan
• Composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul
• Author, Screenwriter, Playwright Ayad Akhtar
• 3D Printing expert Kacie Hultgren

And a lot more that you’re going to want to see, hear and meet!

It’s also a great place to connect with other live entertainment and arts marketers from around New York and the rest of the country AND connect with the Goldstar team. They’ll be the ones with the bright blue scarves. They’ll also be the ones hosting a special dinner for Goldstar partners who attend TEDxBroadway that evening, so you don’t want to miss that.

As for me, you’ll see me on stage as the host. I work with and guide the selection of the presenters all year long, and I have to tell you that I’m so excited to see what they’re going to do this year. I’d hate for you to miss that.

So grab a ticket (while they still exist) and come spend the day on our grown-up field trip!
