LA Phil Is Taking Van Beethoven on the Road

vb-unitPicture this: You’re sitting in L.A.’s Grand Park, but instead of listening to birds chirping and horns tooting, you’re seeing and hearing (well, virtually) the opening of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony performed by the L.A. Phil, and conducted by music and artistic director Gustavo Dudamel. That’s the idea behind VAN Beethoven, rolling around L.A. from September 11 to October 18 (see the schedule here).

You can try out new Oculus technology during this four-minute virtual reality experience, and the specially designed touring truck features authentic carpet and seating from Walt Disney Concert Hall. It’s like your own private concert! Read more about VAN Beethoven here.
