Promo of the Week: Chevy’s #TechnologyAndStuff

Public speaking isn’t easy, and presenting a speech at the World Series in front of millions of people is certainly daunting. So it’s not a huge surprise that the Chevy spokesperson presenting Madison Bumgarner with a truck fumbled a bit and came out with the not-so-clever line about their trucks having “technology and stuff.”

The line, and subsequent hashtag, quickly exploded on social media. But what could have been an embarrassing couple of days for Chevy turned into a marketing opportunity to show the world that they have  a sense of humor — and to show off their “technology and stuff.”
