How fortuitous to see this post on my first visit to the site, as I was just complaining to a friend this morning about how theater companies need to offer more compelling images for online use in reviews and calendars. Most still rely on using photos that capture a scene, out of context for anyone who hasn’t seen it, that tell them if anything about the show except that it looks like something on television from 30 years ago. The other option is the same old static head shots and pre-production stills. It’s boring, and it has to change.
