Are you sharing videos of your rehearsals? Interviews with the creative team? Photos of backstage parties? Your patrons want to see and hear more of your stories!
According to The Story of Telling, “It’s not enough to have a great product, that’s well-made. Savvy customers want to know its backstory.”
So go ahead and share videos of how your show’s costumes were made or footage of a soundcheck. These efforts will go a long way toward making your patrons feel connected, piquing their interest and bringing them behind the scenes.
TSoT’s post concludes: “Customers don’t just want us to make things better. They want us to have and tell better stories.”
