Oregon Ballet Theatre Draws Millennials With … Beer

OregonLive’s Joseph Rose reports on Oregon Ballet Theatre’s latest marketing campaign, which is aimed at getting more urban millennials in the seats. OBT is teaming up with Pabst Blue Ribbon for its new season for a new group-pricing plan called Blue Ribbon Society, or what could be called, “a beer-and-ballet-hangout plan.” A group of eight or more friends can buy inexpensive tickets, and they’ll receive an invitation to an intermission party featuring free PBR tall boys, snacks and more.
