Michael S. Brown has spent the majority of his real estate career in the hospitality industry. Michael’s legacy in the hospitality industry from 1996 through 2012 centered around the formation, site selection and development of new brand concepts for world-leading hospitality franchise companies, including NYLO Hotels, Candlewood Suites and Wyndham brands. Michael has been directly responsible for more than 85 hotel development projects. In addition, Michael has developed and operated multiple real estate projects, including fitness centers, self-storage units, hotels and residential developments. He expanded into live entertainment programming and managing after joining Beaty Capital Group in 2012 and then purchased the former Masonic Temple in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, 5 years ago — TempleLive. Since then, two more venues benefited from refurbishment with the same business model. He organized “the first-ever socially distanced concert in America” on May 18, 2020, with an in-person and online show featuring Travis McCready and Lauren Brown, which garnered international media attention.
