Goldstar User Review Shows You Shouldn’t Be Afraid to Go Dark

Does a play based on the true story of a man with cannibalistic desires sound like a “fun” night at the theater? For many, no, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth performing. Sacred Fools Theater in Los Angeles is performing Taste, about the Rotenburg Cannibal, and it’s getting rave reviews. Here’s one from Goldstar:

“This is a brilliant performance and does precisely what good theater should do. Actors superb, direction superb — the piece is based on the true story of Armin Meiwes. Terrifying, yes, graphic, yes, and absolutely not for the faint of heart. I was not at all familiar with the story beforehand and so for me, this was a shock and am still thinking about this today. Thanks for a provocative evening out!” — Goldstar user RC
