Colorado Symphony Makes a Very Unlikely Partnership

Perhaps it was only a matter of time once cannabis was decriminalized in the state, but it seems the Colorado Symphony Orchestra has teamed up with the cannabis industry for a series of concerts, where, yes, you can BYOM (bring your own marijuana).
Here’s a key quote from the story by Ray Mark Rinaldi for the Denver Post:
“We see ourselves as connecting classical music with all of Colorado,” said Colorado Symphony Orchestra executive director Jerry Kern. “Part of our goal is to bring in a younger audience and a more diverse audience, and I would suggest that the patrons of the cannabis industry are both younger and more diverse than the patrons of the symphony orchestra.”
