5 Easy Steps to Improve Your Customers’ Buying Experience

Once your potential customer has decided to go out (cleared their calendar, maybe even booked a babysitter), now it’s time to buy their tickets. Why not make that process as easy as possible?

Econsultancy recently shared five tips — some taken from a new report from Triptease — on how hotel websites can improve the booking experience. These tips can apply to websites for live events as well. Most customers want the same things when it comes to purchasing online: convenience and ease. 1. Make it simple: The Triptease report found that 94% of people have abandoned a booking online recently because of the website they’re using. Making a purchase should not be complex.

2. Images! People want to see where they’re going and what they’re getting. In fact, 70% of survey respondents said they rely on images to learn about a hotel. And small, low-res images just don’t do it. Instead, images should be used as a sales driver.
